Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 5, 2026
1. Who We Are
NicheBreakout is operated by NMajor Studios LLC ("NicheBreakout", "we", "us", or "our"). This notice explains what personal information we collect when you use nichebreakout.com and related services.
Support and privacy requests are handled through the in-product Crisp support chat. No support email is offered in v1.
2. What We Collect
- Account and authentication data: email address, login provider identifiers, session metadata, account status, and security records.
- Billing data: subscription and checkout metadata from Polar, such as customer ID, subscription ID, plan, billing interval, status, and renewal/cancellation state. We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Newsletter, email, and support data: newsletter email and consent/unsubscribe state, transactional email metadata, and Crisp support messages if you contact us.
- Public YouTube API data: public YouTube channel and video metadata, such as channel IDs, names, handles, thumbnails, banners, publish dates, public counts, video titles, durations, and public engagement fields when available. We derive scoring and cohort signals from this public metadata. We do not use YouTube Analytics, private creator metrics, scraping, unofficial InnerTube wrappers, or browser automation to collect YouTube data.
- Usage, device, and security data: request metadata, anti-bot verification data, consent preferences, and optional product analytics if you allow analytics.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, manage paid access, process subscriptions, send requested emails/newsletters, provide support, prevent abuse and fraud, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Service Providers and Third Parties
We use trusted providers to operate NicheBreakout. They process information only as needed for their role: hosting and security, payment processing, email/newsletter delivery, support chat, consent-gated analytics, authentication, and Google/YouTube API services. Key providers include Cloudflare, Polar, Buttondown, AhaSend, Crisp, Google/YouTube, and self-hosted Rybbit analytics.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
5. YouTube API Services
NicheBreakout uses YouTube API Services. By using NicheBreakout, you are also agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledging Google's Privacy Policy.
NicheBreakout accesses public YouTube Data API metadata only in v1. We do not request YouTube account authorization scopes, and we do not collect private YouTube account data. You can manage or revoke Google account access through Google's security settings.
6. Cookies, Local Storage, And Similar Technologies
We use strictly necessary storage for authentication, security, consent preferences, checkout flow, and app operation. Cloudflare Turnstile is used for bot prevention on public forms.
Rybbit analytics and Crisp support chat are optional. Analytics loads only after you allow analytics and is blocked on auth/API/account/channel-detail/query-string URLs. Crisp support chat loads only after you allow support chat or explicitly open Support. Where detected, Global Privacy Control disables optional analytics. You can reopen Privacy choices from the footer.
7. Retention
We keep account, subscription, newsletter, support, security, and analytics records only as long as needed for the purposes above, legal/accounting obligations, dispute resolution, security, and product operation. Account deletion uses the product deletion flow when available; some billing, security, and legal records may be retained where required.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, object to, or withdraw consent for certain processing. You can unsubscribe from newsletters using the unsubscribe link, manage optional analytics/support with Privacy choices, revoke Google access through Google's security settings, or contact us through Crisp support chat.
9. International Transfers
We and our providers may process information in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards or provider transfer mechanisms.
10. Children
NicheBreakout is not directed to children and should not be used by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, communicated in-product.
12. Contact
